laptop lags while playing game n charger plugged in

it lags while playing games like fifa 18 etc n it works fine while not charging i have a gaming laptop acer predator g9 - 53 i have updated bios n done everything yet the problem is not solved any suggestions guys??

If I understand correctly, that's either a power setting in your OS or there's a hardware problem. Have you made sure all your settings are set to Performance when the AC adapter is connected?
