I have a problem with my lenovo laptop. Last night, I charged it and it works fine. but today, I charge my laptop once again because the battery goes low again but this time, when I plugged in the charger, the battery icon on the laptop seems not changing into charging icon, and when I put my cursor on the icon, it still says 18% remaining, 20 mins. it is literally not charging, but the charger seems fine. I really need help because I really have to use the laptop it is very important.

Solution
Laptop runs fine with just the charger plugged in and no battery?
How old is the laptop?

Try using an app such as
https://batterybarpro.com/basic.php
OR
https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

That can give you some more specific information on your battery's capacity.

Also another little tidbit I ran across, you can try this, see if you get any luck.
Code:
please remove the battery and reinsert it again to make sure it's connected firmly.

Charge the battery to full 100% then use your Y460p on battery power until only 10 to 15% power is left,

shut it down then start up again and immediately press F2 key and keep pressed until it enters first BIOS screen.

Let it sit like that until the battery is empty and Y460p shuts off by...

shut it down then start up again and immediately press F2 key and keep pressed until it enters first BIOS screen.

Let it sit like that until the battery is empty and Y460p shuts off by itself.

This procedure will create a battery-empty reference.

Next plug the charger in and let it charge for a couple of hours, boot up and make sure it's fully 100% charged.

Then run the laptop again on battery power only and hopefully you will get 2 to 3 hours of use until the low batt warning pops up.
