Laptop not closing

I have a Dell inspiron and I was playing a game until my keyboard stopped working and my mouse worked so I tried holding power button and it's not working so I used my mouse to shutdown the PC and it won't close its on a black screen with the led in power and fan is on.

It's a Dell inspiron 7000 battery is not removable I don't see it do I have to unscrew the bottom lid

Sooner or later I guess will run out. lol.

All batteries are removable. Just some are easier than others to get to. That said, if the laptop is still under warranty, you don't want to open it up. That would void the warranty.
