Laptop not cutting on

I have an Asus Flip R554LA laptop and my problem is that it will not cut on nor is it showing signs of taking charge. I've got a new charger and the battery, power outlet and power button all appear to be in good condition. This happened 2 days after my initial purchase of laptop. Is there any advice that someone has that I can use to get my lap top back up running? I really need it for business purposes.

If you just got it, and it is already doing this, I would be contacting the place of purchase about a replacement.
