Solved! Laptop not recognizing bluetooth earbuds for the microphone

When I first got my Bluetooth earbuds (hitune brand) I was using them for microphone and sound. For some reason, today the earbuds only are recognized for sound only. The microphone feature doesn't get connected. I was hoping someone could help me fix the problem.

Check to see what they are showing up as in the audio options, they may be there as a bluetooth headphone, you need to swap them to a bluetooth headset.
