Laptop Not Starting After Disassembling

Hello there people of TomsGuide, I am in need of you help!,
Recently, I just disassembled a Lenovo G740 because of the DC jack being misplaced. After putting it back to place and reassembled the laptop, it wouldn't start up.
I reput the HDD, reput the RAM.
I didn't replace the heat-sink.
I cleaned the fan.
When I disassembled today, I finally opened the front cover of the laptop (Because I finally bought a new screwdriver) and I noticed, a wire/plastic thing that connects to a white thing which is on the motherboard is loose, not loose...like, its out from the white thing.
Am I suppose to just put it back in it? With the blue thing which was with it?

If you see the blue thing connected to the white thing, Am I suppose to just connect it back like that?

What other tips and safety precautions after doing this?

Unfortunately it would be hard to suggest until you do not specify the exact name of the cable or part that is pulled out. Terms like 'White Cable' or 'Blue Thing' are too vague to give you the correct answer.

For better assistance, you can always Download Maintenance Manual for your laptop model and follow the instructions given in there.

If you are still not sure whether you are doing things in the right order, it would be better to take your laptop to an authorized service center and get it checked by the authorized and professional technicians.
