Laptop only used for programming?

Anybody here know's about a really cheap laptop? I plan on using it for programming and ONLY programming, so I don't want to go anywhere over $300 dollars. Of course I can get something cheap off of ebay or craigslist but I would like to know what models I should be looking after.

Sorry for the late messaage, usually ill get an email about responses but i didn't get one. Not entirely too sure what programs we'll be doing, but they use java.
