Laptop output not working

Laptop screen was cracked and was used with monitor for few months. i removed the cracked screen and now vga output dosent work.

Laptop is HP g56 notebook

please describe doesn't work? no output at all? how about the LCD that you replaced, works?
Did you try windows key + P?

no i removed the screen to save desk space as i prefer a monitor

literally just a keyboard that starts up and n stuff

will try win key and p

fixed it, was faulty cable
