Laptop ram extension

My laptop only has one ddr3 so dimm ram slot. I want to add two 8 GB RAM cards onto my laptop to speed it up. Is there anyway I could put two RAM cards in with an extension of some sort?

You could check to see what the maximum RAM supported by your laptop. A single 8GB DIMM might be it. Or you might be able to use a single 16GB DIMM. You will need to find the specs from the laptop manufacturer.
