Laptop recognizes only integrated graphics card

In my laptop i have amd radeon 8600/8700m and whenever i try to play any game, the game recognizes only the onboard intel hd graphics and it doesnt use the amd card...
How can i set games to use the amd card ?

Start by doing a clean install of the graphics card driver just to be sure that you have the latest graphics card driver there is.
