Question Laptop Recommendations

I’m looking to upgrade from my Chromebook to a laptop. I need something that is fast and has lots of memory and can handle having a few browsers open at once, good battery life as well. I’m a music librarian and scan lots and lots of sheet music, scores etc. Need a good reliable laptop. Thanks
