Question Laptop screen is black, although the on/off light is on.

I have an ASUS Zenbook and it's screen hasn't turned on for like a week now. I can't take the battery out, because it's not removeable and holding the on/off button didn't do anything, because every time I let go of the button, it lights up again and I don't know why. Due to the COVID-19 I haven't visited the store i brought it from yet, so I wanted to ask, if anyone could help me. I would appreciate an answer wvery much, because I need my Laptop for work etc.

Check it with an external screen. Does the screen change colors at all when you turn on the laptop?

When you say "it lights up again" are you talking about the power button? So you can't fully shut it off, the button just lights up again? That would point to a motherboard issue. You can unhook the battery, but you will need to open the case.

I have already checked it with an external screen, it doesn't turn on at all. I can't open the case, because it still has warranty I think.

Sorry for this late answer, but I haven't found a solution yet. And I really don't want to go to the shop, because I don't know how to explain how it has happened. Did you find any solution?
