Laptop screen problem

Dell vostro 1310.. Screen not turning up, but after connnecting the laptop with external display, laptop screen turn up and laptop started to working fine, but issue again crop up, if i shut down my laptop, again no display.

Start with checking the connections, then try a new inverter which is much cheaper than a full new screen. If that does not help, try a new screen.
