Hey guys I am going to buy me a dell i7 inspiron 7000 series laptp but I am trying to decide between two makes. So first off they both have i7 5500U CPU and 8gb of RAM. The only differences are the screen, and the gpu. One of them for $1000 has a 4k screen and the AMD Radeon R7 M270 4GB DDR3 GPU. The other has a 1920x1080 screen and a integrated HD grapgics 5500. Witch one would you suggest? What one would be better for gaming? Would the 4k screen be slower with that gpu? This will be used for gaming, School, and other normal stuff. Here is the link to the page: http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-15-7548-laptop/pd.asp...

Thanks guys!

I would just get the Dell laptop with the 4k screen and the Radeon R7 M270.

No mobile graphics chip can play games at 4k and only high end desktop graphic cards in SLI or Crossfire can play games at 4k resolution. But the R7 M270 should be capable of playing many games at 1920x1080.

can you give me a link to the laptops? Also 1080p with intergrated graphics won't be too good for gaming and the other one with a 4k screen will have better fps i think.

First, I wouldn't buy a Dell. Second, no laptop GPU will be able to support 4k at a reasonable frame rate. Also, integrated graphics are not recommended for gaming generally.

I'd recommend looking into the Lenovo Y50 1080p edition it costs just under £900 and has a 15.6" screen, good keyboard, a i7, a gtx 860m and 16gb of ram and is perfect for multi-tasking as well as gaming, it can get a good 60fps on high-ultra settings on pretty much any game, and it can be used for other things such as work, video editing etc with substantial ease.
