I did quite a bit of searching and only found one really good option that's close to your budget. It's a Lenovo G510 and the configuration I would recommend is on sale for $539 right now. I chose it because it has a 4th generation (the newest) Intel Core i5-4200M processor (up to 3.1GHz) which also means it has the latest Intel HD 4600 graphics. The HD 4600 is comparable to some entry-level discrete graphics cards and is more than capable of handling many games and other graphics-intensive tasks.

The G510 has a 15.6" display, 8GB of RAM, 1TB (1000GB) hard drive, DVD-RW, Bluetooth 4.0, Webcam and a 1-year warranty.

I actually bought the previous model, the G500, for my little sister about 18 months ago. She loves it and it hasn't had any issues.
