Hi, please forgive my noobieness, but I am having trouble optimizing my laptop for gaming.
My Specs:
i7 -7700HQ 2.8ghz
16 gb RAM
Windows 10 Home x64
Nvidia gtx 1060 6gb
200W adapter
Screen is set at 60hz

My question is what do i need to do to get my to my benchmarks? I have yet to hit anything more than 30fps and better than 60hz.. Am I limited by anything based on my specs? Should I disable my integrated graphics or allow it switch back and forth?

Any help or advice is apprecitated.
Thanks

I turned off power saver on both the GeForce experience and set the laptops power preference to emphasize performance. I have it plugged in 90% of the time anyway. It shows the programs running on the GPU but still no more than 34 fps.
