Laptop shuts off randomly on battery

So I recently bought the acer aspire 5 a515g and whenever I use the laptop on battery it shuts off randomly. I also noticed that the fan doesn't work either on charging or battery. What should I do?(Can't get a replacement as I live in a different country from where the laptop was originally bought from

Your location vs purchase location shouldn't stop you finding a replacement battery?

Once hope it's the battery. That the risk u take by buying these things overseas.
