3_What screen resolution do you want? IDK

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? no

5_How much battery life do you need? don't care

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Fallout 3, mass effect, dragon age, the best resolution $1000 can buy

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing
,watching movies, Etc.) nothing else really, basic office programs

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need? 300-500 GB

14_Please tell us any additional information if needed. I'm spending a year away from home and just want a system to help pass the time, but so nice that if the sand ruins it I'll get too pissed, hence the $1000 cap.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi there,

You should check out the Acer Aspire 5738DG 3D. It has 320 GB storage and ATI Radeon HD 4570 Graphics. It's a medium sized gaming laptop (15.6") within your budget. Check out the full specs here: http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/pc-scout/laptop-details.aspx?pcid=980c24e8-a312-df11-910b-02bf9d3bf32a.

What do you think?

Hi, thanks for the help. Is the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M card better than the ATI Radeon HD 4570 ?

If I read the review of the MSI its card is a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850. How is that one in the pecking order?

Thanks, yeah I forgot how easy it was to creep up on what your willing to spend. Other than the MSI one, if I wanted to keep it at $1,000, which way would you look? (thinking something the $900 one and the $1200)
