Laptop starts beeps and shuts down

Hi, my laptop turns on fine but when loading windows at start the fan turns on at full speed and the 3 lights for the caps,num lock etc flash while the laptop beeps then it shuts down after 10secs. Does this plugged and unplugged.

What brand of laptop, and how many beeps/ flashes of the LEDs?

22 flashes and 6 beeps before it shuts down, the fan starts with the beeps, the model is intel i7 4710mq

"intel i7 4710mq" is the processor, not the brand of laptop. Dell, HP, Toshiba, ASUS, Lenovo, etc., are brands of laptops.

Fair enough! Unfortunately, I am unable to provide an answer. In my limited knowledge, I remembered that certain brands (such as Dell and HP if memory serves) have charts of diagnostic "beep codes" that explain what the various combinations of beeps mean when there is a fault in the system.

Hopefully someone else with greater know how will be able to help.
