Laptop stuck in airplane mode

My HP Pavillion laptop is stuck in airplane mode and anything to do with wifi has completely disappeared. I have tried so many possible solutions, but am getting nowhere! Can anyone help me???

This is typically a problem with the wireless switch.

On all modern laptops there is a physical switch somewhere on the outside of the case that turns the wifi module on and off. The first thing I recommend is looking for that switch and making sure it is turned to the 'on' position.

I can't find a switch on my laptop anywhere. I searched for that several times and there is nothing.
