Laptop tooo small

Hello,
My current laptop is connected to my large screen tv and I have selected large windows graphics and it is lagging the laptop and slowing my internet surfing back to the dialupdays. What is the minumum size laptop that wil fix that?

When I duplicate my resolution on the big screen is lowered from 1900...x?? to 1000 x ??..

but ya duplicating helped the lag. that caused my post to be duplicated also... thanks toms.... but really what kind of a laptop should i have for this setup with a 42inch lcd monitor.. i like streaming videos
