Laptop TP300L will not turn on at all!

Two weeks ago, my laptop would not charge when plugged in, and it died.
Since then, I have unplugged everything completely, including mouse and charger of course, and held the power button for 30 seconds to a minute. Nothing. The light button would flash when I pressed the power button. The battery light is off.

A week later...

I've replaced the battery, cleaned up the inside a bit carefully, and closed it, held the power button, and waited. Still nothing.

Another week later, it has been 2 and a half weeks.

Please help!

Sorry lucy, but it sounds as though the computer's main board is dead. You can try bringing it to a local computer technician/shop to see if they're able to repair it. Otherwise, the board may need to be replaced.
