Laptop Turns on But no Display but ram is not faulty

As you guys have read the title, my laptop turns on and the fan is spinning but no display, i have tried cleaning the ram physically and it didn't work, this is a Toshiba Satellite M840.

I forgot to mention that i try plugging in an external monitor and nothing on the external monitor

The display likely died and needs to be replaced. It seems to be a laptop from 2012 so you need to decide if you want to replace the LCD screen or buy a new laptop. A replacement screen will cost you $50, but you will need to install it yourself.

Otherwise, you need to bring it into a repair shop and have them replace the LCD screen. I don't know how much that will cost... my guess is $100 to $125.

do your toshiba happen to have a dedicated gpu?
if you extra ports (eg. hdmi) dont work it might be that...
altho it do dont explain the build in screen dosent work
(asuming the build in screen is connected to the igpu)
If its from 2012 its time to move on
