Laptop unable to connect out using RDP

I have a Win 7 Pro laptop that seems to be unable to connect to the internet using RDP. I can access Internet through browsers and the remote server can be reached with a different laptop.

Can you elaborate? You do not use RDP (remote desktop) to connect to the internet, are you trying to remote to another system, or are you trying to remote into the laptop?
