Laptop using 2 display adapters.

Okay. I have a question as I bought a new Asus laptop...Gaming/slash work laptop.
It has 2 display adapters. One is the intel HD 4600
The other is Geforce 750m
My question is why does it have two?
CPU-z says it is using the intel now. Why is it not using my geforce? I have never seen it do this. Also if I go to game does it switch adapters?

It uses the hd 4600 for anything non intensive to save power; browsing, office, etc. When you game it switches to the 750m which is better performance.

Are you saying that it automatically shifts to better driver or there is some manual setting to be done for the same?

Both. It does it automatically but you can also force it to switch in nvidia control panel.
