laptop wifi problem

Recently, I changed my modem and eversince that day I could not connect my laptop to the WiFi. However I can access it when I use a Ethernet Cable. I'm not sure whether the problem is with my laptop or the Modem. Everyone else can get connected to it except me. My laptop can get connected to every other wifi but not the one at my home. Can someone sort it out the problem for me? Thank you so much

what error message are you getting. does the new modem have a new wifi password in it & did you type it into the laptop when you tried to connect to it?
