Laptop wont charge?!?!

I just bought a Asus laptop from Fred Meyers.. Its the newer version. The thing is, I got the one on display.. I will plug the laptop in over night but it shuts off as soon as I unplug it. I'll just be sitting there on it and wanting to carry it around but it just wont charge.. I don't know whats happening with it but I would really like some help.. Thank you.🙂

It appears to have a bad charger. Or the battery has been in use for so long it won't hold a charge. Start with a new battery. You'll need one eventually anyway. If the problem continues, it is the charger.
