Because USB is not a way of getting power to the battery. USB is for dispensing power to peripherals and devices.

USB ports cannot provide anywhere near sufficient power to charge a laptop battery.

Take a look at the output voltage rating on any laptop charger - it's usually around 19 volts - it's impossible for a USB port on any appliance or device to come even close to that!

Even a "Smart" TV isn't as smart as that! :lol:
