Laptop won't connect to the WIFI and i've tried almost everything

I have a HP laptop wit windows 10. I'm unable to connect to my WiFi, I've completely restarted my computer, purchased a Ethernet cable but nothings working. I've tried to disable and enable the the Ethernet and WiFi using the control panel but nothing is working. Please help

I think you can take the laptop off the suspects list. If neither wired nor wireless work, it suggests the router is failing. Can any other device connect through it? Are there any lights showing on it?
