Laptop won't play dvd - Asus X553S Help please?

Just bought a new laptop and i tried to play a dvd in in, but wouldn't work. I tried other dvds as wll and all the same result. Windows 10 installed.

you need something like vlc to play dvd. windows 10 don't come with a player anymore.

Downloaded VLC and popped in a dvd. It works perfectly. Thank you for replying!
