laptop wont turn on

My laptop won't turn on, the screen just flashes black and the caps lock flashes maybe 2 or 3 times. I've tried switching it off, taking the battery out but nothing works

Try to take the battery off and then hold the power button 2 times for 10 secs to discharge it. Then try to boot again. To me it looks like a booting device fails during boot check. It could be hard drive. Did you drop it or something?

it is the RAM, unplug the RAM clean the RAM slot and reinstall the RAM. if that doesn't work then try replacing the RAM.

This could be. If that doesn't work, it could be a faulty main board - much more involved work to replace or repair that.
