Laser printer cartridges

I am considering buying a laser printer (have only had inkjet in the past). If one of the colors is depleted does the printer still print, or would I have to replace the cartridge?

Yep, replacing the cartridge is rather easy, probably a laser one is the best option of you need to print out stuff on a regular basis
