Question Latest Samsung Update

I've been annoyed by small parts of Samsung updates before, but nothing like this. After the latest software update, my Gmail is all but unusable. It crashes after I type a few words, constantly. I have to type out what I want to write somewhere else, then copy it in to be able to write an email. Once in a while it pops up an alert that says Webmail update has caused gmail to stop working and asks if I want to uninstall the update to Webmail. I've done that at least five times. Does anyone know how to fix whatever the software update broke in Gmail?

Best place to start is Settings>Apps>GMail and then clear your Storage and Cache. Once that's done, force close the app and then re-launch it. You may have to login again and GMail will sync your account again. But it may just clear up your issue.
