Launch Visual Studio

This is probably a noob question, but i want to start learning to code, and so I downloaded Visual Studio, but i cant figure out how to launch it. Please help...

When you install any recent Visual Studio (2015, 2017), it creates entries in the Start Menu, just find them.

What language you are going to try under Visual Studio? What is your target - Windows Desktop, web, IoT?
"Programming" is a very wide term...
