Lenovo B50-70 Power Light ON HDD OFF No Fan

I have Lenovo B50-70

Few days back out of nowhere it stopped turning on . Before that it was working fine

I have done the static discharge thing (removing batterz n all)

I have also removed battery and RAM and checked both are good

Do you think it is a Dead Motherboard case.

P.S - I opened the laptop completely and checked, there does not seem to be any visible damage

Have you tried turning it on with the battery out but the charger cord connected?

If it also won't turn on then, it could be the charging circuit on the motherboard. Depending on your device, it may require the whole motherboard be replaced.

I tried that way, it wont turn on. . what i have see, charging circuit is seperate to motherboard

One more thing i observed, when battery is IN and charging cord is connected the charging light (right beside charging cord connector ) and power light is ON

But when battery is OUT and cord connected , charging light remains ON but there is no power light. !!!

While some laptops will not run without the battery in, most will. I would definitely look into the charger cord as an issue. Try a different cord and see if the problem is resolved.

If not, and if it isn't under warranty anymore, I would see about replacing the charging circuit.

If it is under warranty, then contact the manufacturer.
