Lenovo G500s not charging

I have brought my G500s around 2 years back. I had this issue that whenever it uses NVIDIA gpu( High performance NVIDIA graphics settings), it stops charging and both LED( One for laptop is turned on or not and other one for charging) starts blinking and charging stops when I unplug the charger and connect it back for around 20 sec charging happen and that blinking starts. And now it is not charging completely. I have tried by taking out battery and only on ac adapter but that is also not working. I have checked my adapter with my friend who has same laptop its working fine. Please help me..

If it does not work with a known good adapter and does not even turn on without the battery, likely the charge port or motherboard is bad and need to be replaced.

But it only happens when it uses NVIDIA GPU. Do you think that it is due to bad nvidia gpu??

Thanks for your advice. I have given my laptop to lenovo service center. They say charging port had burned. But I don't know how? Can you explain how this can happen? Is it due to playing games on laptop?
