Hello everybody,
my name is michael and I have a issue with my laptop. Lenovo ideapad 330-15ikb with core i7 8th gen and some geforce mx graphics card inside, the correct name I do not know, I do not have the laptop here at my place, because it's the laptop of my workplace. The IT-technician said it is a economic total loss, but I think the laptop is still working. The situation is that the IT-repair-technician of our workplace removed the SSD hard disk drive and now I'm wondering if the laptop can be powered on in that case. When I plug in the power cord it is possible to power the laptop on and I can see the Lenovo logo screen for some short amount of time before I get a blackscreen. If the power cord is not plugged in it is not possible to power the laptop on, except if I press the default factory reset button then I get a screen with some options like standard bootup, BIOS menu and so on before the blackscreen comes.
I have a SSD samsung evo 860, 500 GB at my place, but don't know if this is solving my problem with the blackscreen, or if there is some problem with the battery pack.
Thanks for any advice and sorry for my bad english. I am from austria.
