LENOVO IdeaPad Y570 GT555M 1GB

Hello,

Has anyone used this setup machine (or something close to it) with Intel i7 2.2GHz 2670QM, DDR3@1333MHz, nVIDIA GT555M 1GB GDDR5 with 96 cores, 2xUSB3.0... ?

I'm interested if the USB 3.0 ports are ok (i've heard that some models fail over USB 3.0) and if the 555M 1GB GDDR5 is somewhere close to GT540M 2GB GDDR3.

That is the hottest 'bang-for-buck' model in the market currently.

USB3.0 model failure cannot be generalized to a certain model of laptop. Defects do happen in manufacturing. IF you got a defective piece, you just have to RMA it.

The 555M is far greater than the 540M.

The "GT 555m" in the Y570 is actually an overclocked GT 550m and not a true GT 555m.
