Lenovo Ideapad Z465, black screen

My laptop Lenovo Ideapad Z645 has stopped showing any image at all. It was working all fine but when i started it, it just came up with a black screen. no logo or anything, nothing at all except for the lights . nothing is functioning such as the capslock key or anything else.
i tried connecting it to an external monitor but nothing came there.
i also tried removing the battery, pressing the power button for 1 min and continuing sometimes without the battery so only external supple and sometimes with the battery nothing happened.
I also tried holding fn+B Keys and then turning it on and what happened is the lights no longer appeared but still the screen remained black.

Try reseating the RAM modules if you can access them. That same problem has happened to a few friends of mine, and reseating the RAM modules did the trick (it was a pain in the *ss before we knew RAM was the problem, since a lot of notebook motherboards don't POST when the RAM modules aren't seated properly anymore due to vibrations/shocks).
