Are you trying to connect to your Wireless? Or are you focused on connecting to your hotspot on your iPhone. Reminder: using your iPhones hotspot eats your cellular data plan (Not recommended).
If you are connecting to your iPhone Hotspot, in your iphone's hotspot settings there's a preset password, which you have to type in as a sort of authentication to connect.
