Lenovo P500 Battery Problem

The battery inside my laptop is unreachable so before you say take it out and try it with the AC adapter only, take it out of your thoughts. If I connect the adapter to the laptop nothing happens, it doesn't charge either. Pressing the power button, or plugging out the adapter results in 3 blinks of the battery light per seconds. What should I do? What is wrong?

Try a different adapter. Aside from that you need to get it looked at, even if the battery is in the case a service center can open it and check it. May need a new battery, fix of the charging port, maybe a new motherboard.
