Lenovo u330 touch battery life

I got a u330 a couple of days ago and the battery life on it is only 1.5 hours on a full charge this cant be right can it??

It says it can go UPTO ten hours, but under there are stars that say "... is based on the MobileMark® 2007 methodology and is an estimated maximum. Actual battery life may vary based on many factors, including screen brightness, active applications, features, power management settings, battery age and conditioning, and other customer preferences...". So if you have your brightness on full, connected to wifi, and playing games, it's is right.

But the brightness is extremely low and the only program I have open is chrome and sometimes MS word
