Lenovo W520 Bluetooth Upgrade

Hello everyone.

I have Lenovo W520 with the following Bluetooth specs:
Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB
BD Address: 40:2C:F4:E2:F2:7B ACL MTU: 1021:8 SCO MTU: 64:1
DOWN

I would like to upgrade it to version 4.1. Is there a way I can achieve this?

Is this the wireless adapter located under your laptop?

If not, can you get into Device Manager and see what your wireless/bluetooth adapter is? If you're uncertain of what you're looking for, please shoot us a screenshot of all the drop down arrows opened within Device manager.

If the above card is what you have, you can swap it out for an Intel 8260 card that has Bluetooth 4.2 provided you can find one in an mpci flavor and not NGFF.
