Lenovo Yoga 710 Pearl Black vs Regular Black

Is the Pearl Black Yoga 710 shinny or matte? I don't have a store near buy and can't find pics on the web that show the difference.

Go to Lenovo's web page and click the Chat icon in the upper right corner and ask them. I can only confirm that it's next to impossible to determine from the stock photos.

I did but they didn't know! Came today to my door and their pearl black is actually a gun metal gray. Looks very nice but it sure isn't black. Would have loved it in silver but they don't make the 15 inch in silver.

I hope that the gun metal grey finish will 'grow' on you - but it is a far cry from 'black'. On that note, I have no idea what 'pearl black' means. Isn't 'pearl' usually used with 'white'?

I guess Pearl Black is supposed to be mysterious or something so that is why they use it! The gun metal grey looks better and better, especially since I have no choice anyway lol
