Solved! lenovo yoga 910 saying charging even laptop is not plugged in

I have Lenovo yoga 910 4k it was working fine but today when I started using it, I felt it was varied slow. I changed the laptop power setting and changed it to performance but the laptop was still slow. After that, I unplugged the laptop from power and noticed that laptop charging light was on and the laptop was still saying charging. I restarted the laptop and found that the laptop was slow in starting. I tried checking task manager but everything was around 10 percent whereas ram was at 30 percent which seems normal.
Seems like there is some issue with the charging port. Any suggestions about what can be wrong?

Should be a faulty charger and charging port, because it is happening more than once to this model on different pages over the web. E.g.:

maybe replacing the charger PCB can help: (at minute 6 it begins to get interesting)
