Hi there,
I'm tempted to buy the following machine:
Lenovo Z710 (59421369) Notebook Intel Core i7 4710MQ (2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 745M
at the price of $1000, which is just about the limit of my budget.
My main priority is to have a durable laptop for business, for my profession as a translator. I do mostly Word and a lot of Internet. So, I do use it at least 8 hrs a day.
My second priority is to do some light video editing and photoshop, in which case the dedicated graphics card and i7 would come in handy.
I should also add that I won't move the laptop around that much and that I'll be using an external monitor and keyboard.
My question: The Lenovo Z series doesn't seem to have a good reputation. Is it really worth it for me though to go over into the more high-end Thinkpad league (T or L series) ? Or could this machine still be quite alright?
Thanks in advance,
Cathleen
