LG 55UF950T how to connect Bose CQ35 ii ? [SOLVED]

Hi all,
I purchased a pair of Bose CQ35 ii for my hubby. I was told I would also need a Bluetooth transmitter. Which I bought.
I cannot get it to work?
Any advice how to make them work?

Your TV provides Bluetooth Version 4.0, your wireless headphones as well, so you won´t need an additional transmitter.

You will have to pair both devices,
TV settings should be similar to this, if not, search for sound out options in the menu of the TV:

Headphones:
Push the power/bluetooth button to the right and hold it there for about 2seconds, you will hear something like "ready to connect to antother device" and the bluetooth LED is blinking blue.

I spoke with LG and they said my tv doesn’t have Bluetooth.

Would I be able to use headphones with a Bluetooth transmitter or do I need the headphones with a base station??

Wireless LAN Standard IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Standard
Bluetooth Version 4.0

But ok, which bluetooth transmitter do you use?

It should be able to use HDMI ARC or toslink connection of your TV

Ended up on phone to LG AGAIN for over an hr trying stuff and in the end they confirmed it should work. I went back to shop and they worked out they sold me the wrong product. Exchanged it and now it works!
