My LG Portable AC unit spit out an E3 code (no refrigerant detected), but I dont know where exactly the charging port of this unit is located?

From the manual, it does not appear to be a user serviceable AC unit. Is this system still under warranty?

No, not at all. A friend of mine gave it to me so.e years ago. But, hey, I spoke to HVAC specialist and he told me that these units are electric and therefore requires no refrigerant. Not sure if that's true but I went ahead and opened the unit and there is absolutely no charging port. I might add, there is also NO heat (hot air) coming from the exhaust chute behind the unit. There is no condensation water for.ing, either. What can possibly be wrong? Why is this unit not shooting out cooled air?.......

It must have some sort of refrigerant, but likely not re-chargeable. Might just be time to replace the unit.
