LG Android - how to change photo from public to friends only on Facebook

For a friend. changed his profile photo which shows in newsfeed as a public post. He should be able to go in and change it to 'friends only' in the newsfeed. (I can do it on my profile photos once they show in the newsfeed using my Samsung Android). There's no carat in the upper RH corner on the photo. When he clicks on the photo and the 3 dots appear in the upper RH corner there's no option to edit privacy. Says he can't scroll down when he clicks on the 3 dots. Anyone know how to change a public photo on FB to friends only when you have an LG Android phone?

Can you let me know the specific model name of your friend's LG Android phone? It seems like your friend has found some differences between devices.
