Is this possible? I mainly plan on getting the CX for desktop and PC gaming use, so audio from games isn't an issue since that goes through Windows. But I also plan on watching some content from streaming services on the WebOS platform since the only streaming service that has an app that supports HDR/surround sound on Windows is Netflix, meaning I effectively can't use Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, and other streaming services that support 4k/HDR/Surround Sound properly without going through the TV.
This means that I need to get sound from the TV to my computer, and have my computer output to my DAC which is connected to a 7.1 system. So, is this possible with the CX? Can I passthrough (surround sound and stereo) from the CX to my computer, and use my computer as a sort of "quasi" receiver? And if so, does that include "special" formats, such as Dolby Atmos? And if it doesn't include Atmos, will the TV convert it down, or is that on the streaming service?
